BBS dropped four new truck and SUV wheels on social media last week. The lineup is called the TS series: TS-C, TS-M, TS-P, and TS-R. They are all flow formed starting at $399 a wheel.

That last spec is what makes this release the most interesting. BBS has spent decades earning its place on Porsches, BMWs, and other race-oriented offerings. It has also spent decades in and out of bankruptcy. Their smallest forged LMs run at least $3,000 a set while the TS series at under $1,600 seems aimed at a completely different market.

The four models cover 17”, 18”, and 20” diameters in Bronze, Silver, and Black Satin finishes. Bolt pattern coverage is where the lineup splits: the TS-M and TS-R come in both 5-lug and 6-lug configurations, while the TS-P and TS-C are 6-lug only. Flow forming feels like the exact right call for the category. Truck owners aren’t exactly looking for a lightweight forged wheel for motorsport use, but we are looking for style on our tow rigs. Everyone at the track notices my GMC’s Enkei RPT1s. No word yet on exact weights, load ratings, or which specific bolt patterns the 5-lug variants will cover, but pretty excited about the TS-R as they’d look right at home on our 955 Cayenne.
